David Xu's Webpage

I am currently an ATER (Research and Teaching Assistant) at IUT de Sceaux and Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay.

My Ph.D. was supervised by Bruno Duchesne and Gye-Seon Lee.

My thesis is about discrete subgroups of the isometry group of the infinite-dimensional hyperbolic space, and my defence took place on July 12, 2024.

Where I will be

• October 10, 2024: I will give a talk at the Geometry and Topology Seminar of Marseille.

• October 26 to November 6, 2024: I will visit Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea.

• The week around November 25, 2024: I will be at the Max Planck Institute, Leipzig, Germany. I will give a talk there.

• December 9 to December 13, 2024: I will take part in the conference Arithmetic groups, hyperbolic manifolds and computation, in Bordeaux.

• From January 1st, 2025: I will start a postdoc at KIAS, Seoul, South Korea.
